Speaking about the news, Malky said: "It's fantastic news, he's been a great supporter of this Football Club and I'm delighted he's giving a great contribution to the Club in such a fashion.
"Its two-fold, one in terms of the financial side of it and the second in terms of the profile of Sir Elton, the manner in which he conducts himself with this Football Club and the communication he has with myself, the Chairman and the Chief Executive - its of great benefit to the club, and the fact he's having a concert highlights and helps the Football Club."
The superstar singer, his band and special guests will grace the hallowed turf, after last appearing at the successful fundraising concert in 2005.

Despite often being away on tour, Watford's boss has revealed that no matter where he is in the world, the Pinner-born singer is always keen to find out what's going in WD18 and how the team is doing.
"He certainly calls and is interested in what's going on, who has been playing and why people were sub and so on" added Malky.
"He watches as much as he can, he's in regular contact and he's incredibly enthusiastic about this Football Club and long may that continue."
