DON'T worry - we are not asking you for money! Quite the opposite in fact.

Thousands of supporters are now regularly using their FREE ClubCash to pay in full or part towards their purchases in the Hornets Shop and Catering outlets, whilst also earning more free money to use on their next purchase.

Over the course of this season we have rolled out the ClubCash initiative across the stadium and for the start of next season will have the scheme fully functional including the option to 'load' money through a specially designed web portal.

In brief, ClubCash allows supporters with either Season or Fan Cards to earn 'Free' money via their purchases in the Hornets Shop and Taste catering kiosks. Money can also be earned via the Hornets Rewards programme which links in to High Street and Online retailers.

Money earned at the Hornets Shop and catering outlets can be used instantly in either of these areas. Money earned through the Hornets Reward programme takes approximately one month to be loaded onto your card.

Supporters are advised to present their cards when purchasing any goods in the shop or catering kiosks to ensure they earn money.

The balance can be checked at any one of the number of Balance Readers situated around the stadium and the available funds can be used immediately towards any purchase made in these areas.

Season and Fan Card holders are automatically entered into the Hornets Rewards scheme when using the online Ticket Office and we have recently started to contact the hundreds of supporters who currently don't realise they have an account balance building up for free!

At Christmas, a supporter who had purchased his season ticket online last summer spent £800 in Halfords and without realising earned nearly £40 for free which he is now using to buy drinks and merchandise without it costing a penny!

Watford's ClubCash scheme is unique in the football industry and has already attracted visitors from an array of European clubs this season as they look to develop something similar at their own stadiums.

We look forward to continuing to engage more fans into taking advantage of this loyalty programme that is completely designed for the benefit of Watford supporters.

In the meantime, make sure you ask the cashier in the shop or catering outlets to take your card and you can start using any money you've earned to put towards the cost of your purchases at the last two home games!
