Job Description
In preparation for the Elite Player Performance Plan, Watford Football Club is looking to recruit a Youth Development Lead Coach for its pioneering Academy.
The Youth Development Lead Coach will assist in the coordination and delivery of an age specific programme across the Academy Under-12 to Under-16 age groups.
Qualifications
Applicants for this position must be qualified to a minimum of UEFA 'B' licence. Modules 1, 2 and 3 would be desirable, but not essential. You will need to possess excellent planning and organisational skills along with the ability to relate and communicate well with the young players and their parents. It is expected that the successful candidate will have experience of working in an elite football environment.
Please note that this position is subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure.
FA Safeguarding children certificate is essential (candidates may still be considered without this but will have to attend if successful). Some form of First Aid certification is also essential (candidates may still be considered without this but will have to attend if successful). FA Emergency Aid, First Aid at Work and First Aid for Sport are all acceptable.
