DIRECTIONS FROM NOTTINGHAM TO THE CITY GROUND:
As the station is a 20 minute walk from the ground, if walking isn't your strong point, or it's raining hard, it'd probably be best to take a taxi.
Numbers for taxis, including accessible taxis are available on the useful information poster at the station.
However, if it's sunny and you fancy the walk, you turn left out of the main entrance and then left again.
After that, head straight on until you reach the dual carriageway (London Road). Turn right towards the ground, head over Trent Bridge and you'll be there.
Be careful to make sure it's the right ground as the City Ground, Meadow Lane and Trent Bridge are all within a couple of minutes of each other!
PARKING:
There is parking available at the ground. If that's full then it's a choice between street parking and the council car park, on the Victoria Embankment, which costs around £3.
AWAY FANS:
Away fans are usually accommodated in the lower tier of the Bridgford Stand, which can house around 4,750 fans. The stand also has plenty of snacks stalls and bars within its concourse.
PUBS AND RESTAURANTS:
As well as the usual array of burger vans outside the ground, there are also several fast food places in the parade of shops on Radcliffe Ground.
Pubs include The South Bank Bar and The Stratford Haven, as well as The Casa Bar, which is a family bar on the banks of the Trent with outside seating - although we have been advised that few pubs around the City Ground allow away supporters entrance.
There is also the famous Hooters, which is a 400 metre walk from the station although it's probably best to avoid that if you're going as a family!
