6.30pm Wed Feb 6 - phone lines and email service now restored at Vicarage Road following an external fault...

NORMAL service is resumed at Vicarage Road following the external faults which resulted in the disruption to the phone lines and email service today (Wednesday).

The Hornets were working with third-party contractors today to solve the issue after the club’s ticketing hotline was affected.

Watford’s Ticket Office will re-open at 9am on Thursday morning. If you wish to purchase tickets online please visit

Please call Ticket Office staff on 0844 856 1881 if you wish to book over the phone.

We would like to apologise for any disruption this may have caused.

Wed 06/02/13 - 9.30am

AN external fault at Vicarage Road means club staff are currently without access to phone lines and emails at the moment.

We will continue to update supporters here at and via the club’s other communication channels. The external fault is out of the club's hands but the Hornets are doing all they can to work with third-parties to ensure the service is up and running as soon as possible.

Supporters can continue to purchase tickets online at although if you would like to speak to a member of staff we can still assist.

Please send the club a direct (private) message on twitter (@watfordfcsays) and this will be passed to the club’s Ticket staff who will call back from a mobile device.

If you would like to buy tickets in person you can do so from the Hornets’ Ticket Office (underneath The Rookery Stand), they will be open until 5.30pm.

Just to confirm, club staff are not currently able to reply to any incoming emails or answer incoming calls.

Online Shop sales are available 24/7 at, while personal callers are welcome at The Hornets Shop on Vicarage Road.

Appropriate updates will follow.
