PIERO MINGIOA will spend the remainder of the campaign on loan with Boreham Wood.
The 21-year-old Academy graduate will link-up with former Hornet Chez Isaac at the Blue Square Bet South promotion chasers.
Mingoia has previously been on loan at League 2 side Accrington Stanley this season.
Speaking to watfordfc.com this afternoon, the attacking midfielder said: “I need continuous playing time and I wanted to go back to basics and enjoy playing football again.
“I think Boreham Wood will be a good move for that. I enjoyed my time at Accrington, but when it ended I wanted to be closer to home.
“Now I just want to concentrate on playing for the rest of the season, and see where we go from there.
“Accrington was a big step for me. I’ve never been that far away from home before. I learned a few things, on and off the pitch. I want to thank everyone up there, because I made some good friends, and the town is great.
“I managed to get on the score sheet while I was there, so hopefully I can get score some more at Boreham Wood, and most importantly play regularly.”
