LEE HODSON is to remain with League 1 promotion hopefuls Brentford until the end of the 2012/13 season, after extending his loan with Uwe Rosler's Bees.
THE numbers in Watford's squad have meant loans out being a sensible option to get first-team football for many, however with January providing something of a break-point for many loan spells, here's a run-down on which Hornets are currently plying their trade elsewhere in the UK football scene:
Britt Assombalonga - Southend United: The striker extended his loan terms last month to remain with the League 2 promotion-chasers until the end of the season.
Matt Bevans - Chesham United: Having recently extended his professional contract to the season's end, the defender is on loan at Southern League Chesham United until January 30.
Steve Beleck - Stevenage: The big striker has moved into League 1 loan until the end of the season, linking up with ex-Hornets' youth-team coach Gary Smith at Stevenage.
Lee Hodson - Brentford: The versatile full-back played for the Bees in Saturday's FA Cup Round Three and will remain on loan at Griffin Park until the end of the season.
Stephen McGinn - Shrewsbury Town: The Scottish midfielder debuted from Graham Turner's League 1 Shrews on January 5, and will remain on loan until the end of this season.
Piero Mingoia - Accrington Stanley: The midfielder's loan with League 2 Stanley officially ends on January 18.
Adam Thompson - Barnet: February 1 is the date set between the Hornets and the Bees for the end of the home-grown defender's loan spell at Underhill.
Aaron Tumwa - Wealdstone: The centre-half or left-back, a Hornets' first-year professional, is following a well-trodden path - on loan at our Ryman League friends Wealdstone until January 19.
